Rates

Our rates are a blend of a reservation fee and an hourly rate. We pride ourselves on providing quality care while supporting our babysitters. Please note, there is no financial obligation for submitting a babysitting request. Before a non-refundable reservation fee is collected, we will ensure information is accurate and all questions are answered.

Reservation Fee

A non-refundable reservation fee is required PER reservation to find and confirm your babysitter.

The fee is based on the number of hours and babysitters required. We accept AmEx, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. If the time reserved is exceeded, you will receive an additional invoice for the time added. A 50% down payment is required to begin looking for an available sitter (typically 2-6 weeks before the reservation begins, depending on reservation length and time of year). The remainder of the reservation fee will be charged once a babysitter has been confirmed for your appointment.

All reservations over 12 hours in one day will be charged a $135 Reservation Fee.

Hourly Fee

Hourly Rates are based on the number of children per babysitter.

  • A 4-hour minimum is required for all reservations.

  • There is an additional $10/hr charge for reservations after midnight and before 7:00am.

  • Driving distances beyond 1/2 hour from the town of Jackson will have an additional charge.

PAYMENTS

  • Payment of the reservation fee is made to Jackson Hole Babysitting via online/email invoice provided to you through Square. A 50% down payment is required to begin looking for an available sitter (typically 2-6 weeks before the reservation begins, the exact timing depends on reservation length and time of year). The remainder of the reservation fee will be due once a babysitter has been confirmed for your appointment.

  • The hourly rate paid to the sitter is based on the number of children. Payments are made directly to the sitter at the conclusion of the reservation. Please discuss payment options with your sitter before the reservation. Venmo, cash, or check are among the accepted and preferred payment methods.

HOLIDAY RATES

  • Rates increase 50% on July 4th, December 24th after 5:00pm, December 25th as well as January 1st.

  • Rates double on December 31st starting at 5:00pm and continue till the end of the appointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Up to 48-hours in advance, no charges will apply. If a cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice, a 4-hour minimum will apply. Unfortunately, there can be no exceptions to this policy.
