What is a Nanny?

A nanny is a childcare professional that is committed to your family's needs. A nanny promotes a safe and nurturing environment for the successful growth of your child. A nanny encourages positive decision making and developmental playtime. Nannies have years of childcare experience and love working with families. In addition to childcare duties, nannies are responsible for cleaning, running errands, preparing meals, and washing clothes for the children.

What our service offers:

With busy family schedules, we know that the search for the perfect nanny can be not only time consuming but a daunting task. Allow Jackson Hole Babysitting, Inc. to do the leg work for your family! We will conduct the following five tasks for your FAMILY.

Family Consult: We will meet in your home for a free consultation to discuss the specific nanny needs for your family. This will help us to determine the type of applicant you are looking for.

Applicant Selection: We will select a small group of interested and qualified applicants to present to your family. We will send you individual files via email including: resume, biography, references (We of course have already contacted), photo, and the Jackson Hole Babysitting, Inc. pre-screening application.

Make a decision: We will allow you time to narrow your applicant pool and make a decision on which applicants you would like to meet. We will be available to answer any questions or concerns during this process.

Interviews: We will schedule the interviews according to your availability and provide directions to the applicants. We will also provide you with "key interview questions" per your request.

Liaison: You will determine your financial offer to the applicant of your choice. We can provide assistance in compensation recommendations and research upon request. We will act as the liaison between your family and the applicant. We will provide all legal contracts between your family and the nanny applicant.

Your family has a nanny!: After the offer has been accepted and contracts have been signed between you and the nanny, the placement fee must be paid to Jackson Hole Babysitting, Inc.

***A non-refundable deposit of $100 is taken before submission of applicant files to family. The deposit will be applied towards the placement fee. We provide our nanny placement families with priority status with all your on-call Jackson Hole Babysitting, Inc babysitting needs!***

How much do we charge?

For your convenience, we provide 6 month and 12 month contracts between nannies and families. Our placement fee is a one time charge to the family and must be paid in full immediately after all contracts are signed.

  • Full-time 6 month Placement Fee: $850 (35+ hours per week)
  • Part-time 6 month Placement Fee: $650 (20-35 hours per week)
  • Full-time 12 month Placement Fee: $1,200 (35+ hours per week)
  • Part-time 12 month Placement Fee: $950 (20-35 hours per week)
